Recruitment Scams Information

It has come to our attention that individuals and/or organizations have been falsely using Bellatrix’s name to give employment offers, and/or to request money or personal information.

Bellatrix does not use recruiting or placement agencies that charge candidates a fee of any kind, including, but not limited to, placement fees or immigration processing fees. Although we do periodically work with recruitment agencies to find potential candidates for specific positions at our own expense, at no point in the recruiting process would an applicant be asked to pay a fee.  In addition, interviews would most likely take place at one of Bellatrix’s offices with a Bellatrix employee present.

Here are some warning signs that may indicate fraud and/or a recruitment scam:

  • Unsolicited emails from web-based email accounts such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo or
  • A request for financial/banking information or passport/visa information, or a request to pay any fees
  • An offer of employment for locations not disclosed on the Bellatrix website
  • Poor grammar or spelling used in correspondence
